In fact they told me they hadnt a clue in Japan just who was the main source for the stuff they were teaching.
When they told me who had taught them this stuff I was shocked as he is a senior ranking bujinkan member. Didnt have a clue what the takamatsu den stuff was and had no clue that it was from Amatsu Tatara Hibumi No maki material. He had never heard of Hatsumi or Tanemura. It was at that point I decided not to get involved in it.Īs a side note I once did contact a practitioner off his web site regarding amatsu medicine he was teaching. His syllabus was filled with diagrams from high school style medical books. In fact one senior pracitioner himself showed me his syllabus once and even admitted to me he had added chinese medicine to it and physiotherpy. Garthalthough I do think they are prone to steal anything that sounds mystical and sells their art of healing I doubt they have seen any of the old material on paper regarding this.
